Hey Everyone!
As you probably already know, I'm a singer, songwriter, musician, comedian & speaker. I minister in churches, retreats, youth groups, fundraisers, etc. I love working alongside churches who are looking for new & creative ways to reach the people in their community! I do Concert & Comedy nights, Family Nights for all ages, and also ladies-only events. These are fun, non-threatening ways of encouraging community & drawing the unchurched.
I also sing in Sunday services & share my story of being diagnosed with depression & then, more recently, with an aggressive form breast cancer. I speak of how God can use suffering in our lives and how He can bring good out of even the most difficult experiences. I just received a clean bill of health this past March 2011, so praise God!

In August 2009, Wendy was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer.
After several surgeries and many long months of chemo & radiation,
Wendy is thrilled to report that as of February 2011,
all treatments are completed!

Those of you just getting acquainted with Wendy may be wondering
how to pronounce her last name.
It's pronounced "FAR-huh", and it means "joy" in Arabic.
Wendy's paternal grandparents came from Damascus, Syria in the early 1900s.
Pretty cool, huh?
